S. T. Dupont began making luxury goods for travellers in Rue Dieu in Paris, in 1872. But it wasn't until 1973, at the request of Jackie Kennedy Onassis, that they made their first pen. With hindsight, it was probably an obvious thing to do. The Eternity collection reimagines some aspects of this classic range and offers a more refined, slender profile. The clip has been changed too to resemble a sword. A nod to the famous proverb: "the pen is mightier than the sword".
